Housing and Cost of Living
The Housing Centre provides basic information about single student residence, student family housing, summer housing, and off-campus housing. Incoming students who have yet to obtain a UTORID are able to access listings by enabling a JOINid. The site is a good resource for off-campus housing tips and provides a tool for roommate finder. For additional information, UTM and UTSC have their own respective websites.
Housing costs depend on the type of accommodation (eg. bachelor, shared-room) and location. A guide to the living and studying costs can be found at Student Life. You may also check some of our students' budgets.
Health Services
The University provides facilities for medical care on all three campuses. The Health & Wellness Centre has health care providers who provide medical, nursing, counselling, health promotion, and education services. Centres available at UTSC and UTM.
Student Life Division
Learning isn't limited to lectures, libraries and laboratories. The role of Student Life is to facilitate your learning and development through active engagement with the campus community. Programs are dedicated to connecting students to opportunities for co-curricular engagement and learning, to developing student leadership, and building an inclusive and vibrant community on campus. The comprehensive website includes information on Accessibility Services. Offices are available at UTSC and UTM.
