Two chemistry alumni have been recognized by Ingenium's Women in Stem iniative for International Women's Day 2022.
Dr. Rachel Chang graduated from the Abbatt Group in 2011. Now an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University, she is a Canada Research Chair in Atmospheric Science, studying how the sources of aerosol particles or particulate matter affect the formation and intensity of coastal fog. Dr. Chang's work will help us better understand how particles affect air quality and climate, and how we can control their effects for the benefit of society.
Dr. Eugenia Duodu graduated from the Gunning Group in 2015. She is now the CEO of Visions of Science Network for Learning, where she leads a team whose focus is to provide engaging programs and opportunities for youth who are traditionally under-represented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
